Who am I?
My name is James Sinclair and I'm the founder and CEO of The Partyman Group of Companies. I started building my business when I was just 16 as a family entertainer after that I built up an entertainment agency, then moved into building a leisure and day nursery businesses. Today we operate a £50 million business which includes leisure, childcare, outdoor attractions, commercial property, arts and crafts manufacturing as well as one of the UK’s oldest Ice cream companies; The Rossi Ice Cream Company.

I am not a businessman (I’m just an employee in a large corporation) but I find this insight fascinating to learn something about what it takes to be brave in the world

As an Essex resident I am so impressed with what you have done James at Marsh Farm, Roller City and Rossi’s (all places my family use)

Enjoyable video. Never forget your exit strategy though. It’s such a buzz building but as night follows day there comes a point when you want to plant trees you’ll never see mature. Best of luck :)

Great video James. On thevother side of the fence, I sold a business last year, with some vendor finance. However I included a no-offset clause in the agreement so they couldn't contra items against the payments - because otherwise, i think the buyer is in too strong a position - what if they turn out to simply want to try and evade paying, maybe they have some buyer remorse, you're then faced with legal bills and a time consuming nightmare. My top tip😂

Would love you to mention how you change the business name , or do you keep the same names of the old business? I have a few old businesses and have kept the original names as my main one is a service pickup, but it can still confuse customers.
