We recorded this at 12:30 PDT yesterday and after Whitney left, I realized we watched the entire entirely wrong teaser videos (apparently they were lives?)

So enjoy this, and our upcoming reaction, where we are totally clueless about the fact that he released the first, second, and third night videos, haha!

You will enjoy a good laugh at us, trying to figure things out that he has already answered. We will go back and watch those, and it will probably be pretty funny as we see our questions were answered before we ever had them.

As always, thanks for joining us!

The 'wailing'/vocalisation in Act III is a cry - in songs, it's usually about grief and deep longing. I feel like he is crying for the whole of humanity in that part.

Although the killing wasn't directly politically motivated (it was in the heat of the moment and he didn't know who the victim was), Vincent is expressing his frustrations at the system that he considers is the bigger picture and responsible for driving him to it.

Have you ladies watched all of Vincent’s tale? The prologue, self portrait, the bedroom? They  really bring in the story of Vincent more clearly

In act II:  "I am the malevolent, degenerate, delegate" is so perfectly lyrically appropriate for the story. I honestly can't comprehend how Ren does this!!   I bet he speaks in rhymes at home.

In this story vincent is not a volunteer. He's being used by the state as a guinea pig.
If you saw the short story just before this. There's a tv show which explains that the prisoners are being video taped and it's broadcast on the show. At the end of the show the tv audience sends in their vote as to which prisoner gets the lobotomy. It looks like vincent won and has been selected, chosen to get the lobotomy.

There's a difference between inciting riots and inciting a revolution. An awakening of a collective is a beautiful thing. Seeking a spiritual reset against the corrupt.

Great reaction girls. Amazing to hear the perspective from a couple of intellectual Americans.

Looking fire too 🔥

Ren is absolutely extreamly ewrythng
🤘🥲🇫🇮💙🪄🎼✨💯👍

Act three has me crying like a baby

This needs to be seen by everyone, YouTube has been weak supporting, so everyone pass it on , and give not take ,love not hate, help we all need …

In the first two lines when enters the talking circle, he clears his throat and he "introduces" himself as a representation of ALL of us.

Ren explained with Knix Hill that Act 3 was moving away from Vincent the person to a more meta - explanation  trying to orovide an answer to the place we have gotten to as a society. He is not condoning murder or not voting. He says he sometimes votes, sonetimes not depending on issues. He is an advocate for more humanity and ubity rathet than blame and division. He believes there is a better system of decision making out there that doesnt foster corruption and the destruction of the earth and people.

🔥🌟🤘🤩🤘🌟🔥

Love your reaction. The anthem of a revolution.  I don’t know but on Knox Reaction he sits with him to breakdown. He talks about very first part.

That's something pushed by the politicians.
To get people to accept censorship  for truths the politicians don't like. This speech is causing violence, causing people to riot.
If it's the truth, that's the cost for freedom of speech, you can't hold people who report the truth responsible for how people react to the truth.

from Wikipedia - The phrase “take the Michael” is a popular idiom in British English that has been used for many years. It is a colloquial expression that means to mock or make fun of someone, usually in a light-hearted way.

Screech was a bad person and killed Jenny . Then we discovered that they were siblings separated at birth and grew up in bad circumstances.  There's a difference between justice and the story that led to the act. So Ren is not justifying Vincent's actions, he's just showing how circumstances can change behaviour.

Ren stated that the riot really happened and wasn't just in Vincent's mind. 😊

Great reaction.
Taking the Michael is another way to say Taking the Mick

Hey Ladies, loved this reaction! Your breakdown of the "After they christen him the father, son, the ghost, but not the mind" was the best I have heard so far, and I have listened to quite a few reactions to this.  I also like that you made me question who was speaking during the "I come from love..." lines and to me, as in ACT#2 REN is playing the Narrator and as the narrator he is REN.  Especially when he says "They don't want me in the room, I'm the elephant" Perhaps if he was in the white beanie that would have been more clear to us the viewer, but maybe I am wrong. REN is the voice of those who do not have a platform to stand up for themselves, so he is using his voice to unite us through his amazing work. To add to that, Act III and Act IV both feel like REN is speaking and observing through the chaos..it is REN"S voice and he is proclaiming HE comes from LOVE, HOPE, TRUTH and TRUST in my opinion. Well done....very thoughtful and I appreciate the perspective.  Be well..sending love and light from Texas!
