This is more than an old recording—it captures a period when sound systems were the heart of the community, selectors controlled the vibes, and DJs delivered their lyrics directly to the people.

This session features a powerful lineup of Peter Melody, Sassafrass, General Trees, Principal Grundy, Lashlarue, Yonty Dread, and Junior Eddie, with Selector Papa Screw behind the controls.

The raw energy, early dancehall style, and sound-system atmosphere make this a special piece of Jamaican musical history. These recordings preserve the voices, sounds, and culture of an era that helped shape the dancehall music heard around the world today.
