When i quit pills. I took it hour by hour day by day. Same with alcohol. When i felt the urge i would colour or have a shower. It was hard but its worth it in long run. Remember small steps still equal big results

also, please keep us updated with your no smoking journey. i've smoked daily for 5+ years, for the last 3 it's been prescribed for my ocd. i'm addicted to the same feeling, the intrusive thoughts/paranoia/compulsions and ruminating is so much more muted when i'm stoned. it also helped me come off meds, and i've been more stable and slept better in the last 5 years than ever. sitting on my balcony every night feels like an intrinsic part of my routine but sitting there without a smoke feels illegal. but i'm sooooo lethargic all the time. and if i can't have it for a night? i panic and can't sleep or i have wild nightmares so i definitely need at Least a break. i also don't drink so i feel like my options are stone cold sober and miserable or Okay. so pls keep us updated so i can have some hope  i can do this one day too lol. you SHOULD be proud of urself
