If social media existed in '95, the ending to this game would have broken the Internet.

I love the jerseys in those times. They were beautiful.

The intro/backstory for this game is heat.

Ill never be done with the 90s

Damnnn can’t this be more nostalgic?!? I get goosebumps!

The final minute of this game is what made Marv Albert the voice of the NBA for years. He was on fire all night during this game.

The volume level of the announcers is key for these broadcasts. They keep it a level where the crowd can drown them out and they have to yell when the crowd gets super loud. It really adds to the atmosphere.

One of the greatest playoff games of all time 🙌🏻

29:56 🔥 Young Penny.  NBA had stars literally everywhere.  Golden Era with a gold standard.  🌟

This atmosphere is what NBA playoff  basketball used to be

When the NBA was the NBA, my goodness we need these players back again. They showed us how basketball was terrific to watch.

People forget how LOUD Market Square Arena became, especially come playoff time. One of the toughest buildings to play in.

Such an underrated classic

I miss 90’s basketball so bad

I watched this game live. Classic ending. Smits is one of the more underrated centers to have played in the NBA.

The other playoff series/game that comes close to clutch buckets being made with time expiring by both teams is the 2004 Second round series between Lakers-Spurs

Kobe first made a clutch mid-range jumper to give the Lakers a one-point-lead

Duncan then makes a sensational circus bucket to give the Spurs a one-point-lead

And then Fisher with the 0.4 bucket to give the Lakers the win

I’ve heard that Tree Rollins was told not to go for the pumpfake by Smits but he still did guessing Smits wouldn’t have enough time to get the shot off. Amazing sequence of 4 different game winning shots. Credit the magic they still managed to win the series without winning in Indy

NBC did the best job with dramatic, contextual, storytelling introductions. It's no wonder they also carried the Olympics ay the same time they had the NBA. Storytelling. Athlete backstories. Settings.

Miller hits a three
Penny hits a three
Smits hits a game winning jumper

What a sequence of plays to end a game

Watched this game on DVD about a month ago!!! Definitely one of the great games in the 1995 NBA Playoffs
