Also want to mention that if you guys maybe have friends who make amigurumi (or crochet plushies) and you really can't find projects and space for your scrap yarn, gift it to them!
Amigurumi usually require small amounts of yarn but in a LOOOOOT of colors, so they'll definitely appreciate it!

Can you make a video trying these out? Or a video showing us how you tackle and bring down your yarn scrap stash? I see all these roundup videos, but hardly anyone actually shows us that they tried them and the results, and the dent it put in their stash. I'm great at researching these, but the fun for me is seeing what someone made! And if they felt it was worth it/actually use or wear it!

Just made three baskets out of most of my scrap/weird yarn 😂 I grouped them by color and used around 6 strands at a time with a large hook, when one yarn was finished I just tied on a similar one. My favourite basket is all shades of pink with yellow, red and purple, it looks like an over the top sunset, I love it so much

I made almost 50 knit fingerless mittens this past spring and in most yarns you only need 15-30 grams of yarn per mitten it’s awesome

These are great projects to share with beginners. Especially the small flatter ones like the headphone / bag charms - I’m teaching friends atm and it would be super rewarding to create something quick and for them to feel that sense of achievement of finishing a little project 🦋💕✨🧶
