A woman tells Pittsburgh Detectives that she is waiting for her daughter, who they discover to be a known prostitute and drug abuser. In Las Vegas, Sgt. Jenkins spots a girl that he believes to be 'on the stroll' on the Vegas Strip. The woman claims to be a tourist from California, but the name and information she gives turn out to be bogus. Spokane Officers stop a car seen picking up a young lady and suspect her of prostitution when they learn she was ticketed for the crime just two weeks ago.

I feel really bad for the first woman’s daughter. She is suffering from addiction obviously.
I hope this clip is old as hell and she has since recovered

Who would have thought Woody Harrelson would make such a compassionate police officer?

Las Vegas PD Sgt Tom Jenkins is easily the coolest cop I have ever seen.

That last girl is playing a dangerous game snitching her plug out . She at least could have waited until she got to jail now she's screwed in the streets

I have a special place in my heart for the wretched souls stuck in addiction. It’s not a fun life waking up sick, a nervous fucking wreck you’re gonna shit yourself, you smell, or the insidiousness of that cold sweat, and the fear……

That whole episode was depressing.

This is horrible and I feel for those born into things like this. I really think about them and how I can help.

I think it’s funny how they always have to ask if they can have a cigarette… lol

They arrested the last girl but let the John/Trick go as a "witness." That is such a gross double standard of the law. It makes me sick to my stomach how the drug addicted girl degraded to the point of selling her body is criminalized but the successful married man in the nice car who is willing to exploit her sexually in exchange for money is free to go.
