What do YOU think? Was Rosemary’s Baby truly cursed, or just a string of dark coincidences?
Drop your theory below… if you dare.💀

Stephen King said this is the scariest movie ever made.

“The devil was played by Clay Tanner”, proceeds to show picture of Peter Fonda instead.😂

Decades ago I met Mia Farrow at a book signing. I had her sign a first year print of Rosemary's Baby for me. She loved it. She giggled & said no one has ever asked her to sign one. As far as I know I have the only copy of Rosemary's Baby signed by Mia.

I felt sick when she started eating the raw liver at the sink! 🤢 😖🇬🇧

Do you  remember the MAD MAGAZINE’s parody, “RoseMia’s Boo Boo?”

Polanski created what, IMO, is the greatest horror movie ever made.  Subtle and completely lacking in the gross-out obscenity of "The Exorcist" and other later films, it builds, like Hitchcock does in his best films, to a completely believable devastating climax.  In the opening minutes, Rosemary and her husband are seen standing at the entrance to the apartment building before they inspect an available apartment.  They are seen in a long shot standing exactly where John Lennon was when he was shot and where he staggered a few steps into the small security office before collapsing.  How strange that that should have been filmed 12 years prior to that tragedy.  "Rosemary's Baby" is a flawless masterpiece, and it is shameful that Mia Farrow did not receive an Oscar nomination for her performance.

Yes of course!!!!....the red dress with the white collar was also used by both Diana and Katrine when they presented their royal babies to the world😢😢😢😢😢😢

As a practicing Catholic I don't have a problem with this movie. It shows the reality of evil.

It was a brilliant film it’s one of my favourites ❤

50 retakes, obsessed evil , bad vibes happening and even in 1980 Lennon shot at the Dakota

The woman who played Elise was also in I Dream of Jeannie.  She played Amanda Bellows, Dr Bellows' wife.  She died of a brain tumor at the age of 50.

There are always stories behind stories

Read the book, then watch the movie.

Sidney Blackmer should have won an Oscar.  Patsy Kelly was brilliant as was Ruth Gordon and Elisha Cook Jr.  They were old old Hollywood.  (They all knew Sinatra and what a shit he could be.)  Blackmer appeared in "The Perils of Pauline," the first Hollywood motion picture.

In the scene where they discover the girl who jumped, there is a blood stained "Beetle", right about where John was shot, ya can't make this sh*t up

The Dakota is not Gothic architecture.  It is rusticated Romanesque.

This movie singlehandedly started the satanic horror phase which included the Exorcist and the Omen.  One of the few perfect movies.

Mia later gave Woody a card with pictures of the children and a butcher knife stuck in, after he was found to have hooked up with her daughter. One thinks of her approaching the crib with the knife, and the Mason follower with the same kind of knife approaching Sharon. And the second woman murdered was named Rosemary Labianca, that translates into " The White One.". Ira Levin was known for brilliant writing with a surprise ending. My favorite book of his was "This Perfect Day."

Strange how many people involved in this movie died under mysterious and weird circumstances. The Dakota is an old building with stories of haunting.
