Here’s some foreshadowing hints that prove that the Mickey, Donald, and Goofy seen on-screen are not the real characters and are just experiments made by Disney(as in before their true colors are shown in ‘Vehement’)

1. The story saying that they react differently when Bruno shows up. Donald reacting with irritation, Goofy reacting with confusion and concern, and Mickey being surprised that outsiders entered their small world. The OG trio would welcome Bruno with open arms, immediately seeing him and Gloria as new friends.

2. In the Welcome dialogue, Goofy says that they hardly get visitors in the Clubhouse(Marko’s Clubhouse in this), which is strange because the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show has a ton of visitors visiting their Clubhouse.

3. In the same dialogue, Mickey says that they’re not used to new friends, which again is strange because canonically Mickey has a ton of friends.(Like I said before, original Mickey along with original Donald and Goofy would welcome Bruno with open arms.)

4. Mickey getting irked by Bruno winning in ‘Welcome’ once it was over, along with Donald looking more antsy and annoyed. The real Mickey would(if anything)be impressed by Bruno’s singing skills, and the real Donald would be absolutely eager to hear them sing ‘Vehement’.

And last but not least:


5. The intruder protocol itself. This mod says that Mickey was supposed to enact the intruder protocol but was too focused on his rematch with Bruno.(hence why Donald got annoyed during the beginning part of ‘Vehement’). Mickey and Donald see Bruno and Gloria as a threat to their normalcy as they suffered from grief and trauma because their respective girlfriends Minnie and Daisy went missing and never came back. In the original Clubhouse show, there is no such thing as an intruder protocol because Mickey and the others invite every new visitor to their Clubhouse.


Honorable mention 1:The comparison between VMU Mickey’s anger, and OG Mickey’s anger. VMU Mickey(just like the Mickeys/Markuses from other VS Mouse mods)is an imperfect experiment as he’s prone to being extremely angry like Donald, is a troublemaker, and much more childish and immature. The irony is that OG Mickey has moments where he gets angry. However those moments in comparison are justifiable and understandable as OG Mickey only gets mad when his boundaries are disrespected(Like the time where he actively yelled at Daisy because he made it clear that he and Minnie both wanted to see the sunset alone;as in only him and Minnie together.)or when his friends and his girl Minnie are all hurt by genuinely cruel and malicious people. This means that OG Mickey would be impressed by Bruno’s singing skills and would possibly invite him to have a Clubhouse picnic with the Sensational Six.



Honorable mention 2:The relationship with Marko. This is a really important one. VMU Mickey and Marko are both brothers, VMU Mickey being the younger brother and Marko being the older brother. They both have quite the rocky relationship and are prone to getting having loads of arguments. This is because VMU Mickey sees Marko’s stern and calm demeanor as arrogance and indifference to his grief and trauma, being the reason why VMU Mickey resents him. In truth, Marko struggles to articulate his emotions, which hinders his attempts to connect with his grieving friends as a result. The story in Act 5 in the woods says that after Marko stops VMU Mickey from getting himself in greater trouble, VMU Mickey personally berates Marko with a menacing amount of insults and accusations, calling him a “know-it-all” and thinks that he’s “above everyone else” without considering the suffering that his “friends” go through every day of their lives, wanting everyone to see how he and VMU Donald felt because of him. This in result breaks Marko’s stern demeanor, having him show a much more emotional look. If OG Mickey met Marko, he would without a doubt be a much more mature, loving, caring, and supportive younger brother to him. OG Mickey and OG Donald would appreciate his company and would invite him to sing with them, OG Goofy, Bruno, and Gloria during ‘Crisis’ if he wanted to. Knowing OG Mickey’s emotional intelligence, he would see right through Marko’s stern demeanor, seeing someone who’s doing his best at being a good leader, but feeling extremely exhausted because of VMU Mickey’s insults and the constant arguments they have. OG Mickey, being the all-loving hero he is, would also reassure Marko that he is a wonderful leader, a great friend, and a fantastic older brother whenever he starts doubting himself, and would also say that VMU Mickey needs to stop being immature. This means that OG Mickey also gets angered when the people he cares about(his friends, his girl Minnie, and others)are insulted or belittled, ESPECIALLY by an imperfect experiment that looks exactly like him.

Gotta love how goofy seems to be trying to de-escalate the situation in vehement but fails miserably or at least tries to not get involved Nty also not get hurt in the process.
