My Browning over-under story: I grew up on a dairy farm in central New Jersey. My father had 12-20 gauge Remington auto-loaders. One summer evening, shooting pigeons off the silos. My father stopped at three shots, and I kept shooting till six. With a surprised look, he said, "How did you do that?" My response "I took out the wooden magazine plug," A few days later, he told me to put the guns in the trunk of the car that we were going to the gun shop. To my dismay, my six-shot shotgun was replaced with a 20-gauge over-and-under field grade Browning 28 inch. I ran beagle hounds for years, shooting rabbits, pheasants, ducks, and foxes. The gun was carried enough that the bluing wore off, giving it a nice used patina. I was always told that I was lucky to get a Belgian gun. I am 71 years old. The gun is a prized possession that connects me to my youth, father, the farms and my dogs.

The very first Browning under and over with serial number 1 stamped on every part of the gun is in Melbourne Australia.
It was handed into a local gun shop from a deceased estate a few years ago.
The gun shop didn’t know or understand the significance or what it was, just an old Browning with 2 triggers.
It was spotted by a local gunsmith out the back of the shop in a storage area when dropping off some repaired firearms, he made an offer and paid $800 for the gun.
I have many photos if anyone is interested.

For JMB's sake it was fortunate he designed military weapons as well as sporting. His relationship with FN delivered more opportunity to expand the Browning enterprise into what it became. US manufacturers would only buy his patents outright while FN allowed him to receive profit for every unit sold. Partnership builds empires... Just ask Toyota.

Worked @ Browning in Morgan UT 1700ac compound in late 70s, before FN took over. Enjoyed access to R&D, prototypes, test range and test fired Browning A5 auto's first poured barrel by Mirouku Arms. It was the first range test with 2500 rounds through the A5 without a single jam or mis fire.

Have a citori 625 sporting O/U 12g 32” barrel. Already sent >1000 rounds shooting skeet. Action and accuracy is as good as the day I bought it

I own an early 1930's B25 with Double Selective Triggers (either trigger can be pulled a second time to get the other barrel) and Custom AAA American Black Walnut Buttstock and Fore-end. The original Buttstock was cut very short and there were "Hairline Cracks" developing in the Fore-end, so I opted for Custom Wood fit to my Dimensions for Trap/Field use.
This has been my Trap Gun since 1979, and I've fired thousands of rounds of Trap Ammo through this shotgun shooting Trap Leagues. This Gun was well used when I got it in 1978, and it still Locks-Up Tight after all these years.
