Was a poltergeist caught on camera by a Canadian news crew?
Summer, 1989. In Beauport, Quebec, an entire apartment building on Mgr-Gauthier Street came alive, violent banging that shook partition walls, ragged holes punched through plasterboard in real time, and dark shadows at the edge of vision. Witnesses weren't just tenants. Police officers, gas engineers and city inspectors all felt it.
In this true ghost story, I investigate the Beauport Poltergeist, the TVA footage from August 4th 1989, what Lt. Guy Bedard and Inspector Gaston Dubé experienced, why gas, clay soil and plumbing theories failed, and the two chilling triggers: reported seances after a death downstairs, and 12-year-old Zoe's summer stay.
This is a documented poltergeist true story, never fictionalised, told from contemporary press and investigator notes.
