The problem is Terry Bollea doesn't know the difference between himself and the character "Hulk Hogan"

No way is Russo lying, if he would have gone against Brad Siegel he would have been fired.  He wouldn't have tried it anyways.

Love the Sylvester Stallone and John Wayne items, in the back Vince.

See, Bischoff never said that the Jarrett lay down was Russo going into business for himself. Bischoff claims it was the promo later on that was the part they didn't know about.

One of the greatest Thursday night thunders I ever witnessed(and I have it on vhs), was when Vinnie Roo wrestled "the Masked Heel"(Stevie Ray)..That whole card was magic...Shout out to Disco and the big Cat EM on that show as well..

This is like two lawyers in court.  You know they are both full of shit but you kind of want to know how it plays out.

If Bash really was a shoot, why would Hogan even bother covering Jeff? In real life he would have walked out when he saw Jeff drop to the mat.

I miss the glory days of WWF VS WCW but honestly looking back what are the things that are remembered?

nWo
Bash at the beach
Judy bagwell on a pole
David Arquette
Goldberg streak

3 of that were influenced by Russo, like it or not you can slag them off all you want, WCW is gone and people are still talking about it because of these things.

@ Vince Russo, you did the right thing when it came to Hogan. Hogan held a lot of people back for that world title in both WWF and WCW: Macho Man Randy Savage, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Bret Hart.

You're right, Vince.  I listen to a lot of your interviews, and I have never heard you bury Eric Bischoff (even though you've had opportunity after opportunity to do it).  In fact, you usually have pleasant things to say about EB.  I heard Eric completely bury you on some podcast called Under The Mat.  Before I saw this video, I just thought to myself, "Wow, I hope Vince doesn't just take this on the chin and forget about it."  Everything you said was justified and you're the one being a real pro.  Much respect.

I have no idea how much Russo was involved in WWF writing back then, or how much of the Attitude Era was his idea (though lots of other people dispute his side of events). But for the record, WCW beat WWF for a year and a half... not "a few months"

I still say you should finally tell the truth about the damage they did to TNA.

That was great Vince

All Hail Vince Russo his rants about Sami Zayn are hilarious.

It's 2026 and people are still talking about it....

Hey Vince I subbed! You're catching up to me in subscribers. 30k will be here before you know it. I'm a big fan, keep up the content.

Point/hole # 1, nooo, I just listened to Bischoffs comments. The: "Going into business for himself" wasnt the having Jarrett lay down, it was after Hogan and Bischoff left when you went back out and trashed hogan on the mic was what Eric was referring to.
Point/hole #2 Another point that is explained above.. They said u went into business for yourself when you went back out and took the mic after they left, NOT when you had Jarrett lay down.
Point/hole #3. They claim your overall storylines and decisions cost WCW all that money, NOT the promo you cut at bash at the beach.
Point/hole #4 I agree with you on actually, Eric is full of shit.

in summery, I actually enjoy your work Russo. However, you never specifically said that you going back out to the ring after Hogan and Bischoff left the building was scripted. Thats the big point in question here. Not having Jarret lay down.. Btw, my source on my counter points is this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URdkTOw-tE4

Hey if it makes you guys feel better during all this fighting Bash At The Beach 2000 is the most expensive vhs tape in the world over 500 bucks for this tape just saying.

This is interesting to watch. Vince Russo is a very passionate man and it would be interesting to see his work in the creative industry with the passion and skill he has.

Perhaps the way to find out the real story is to ask Brad Siegal himself as he was on the phone as the hypothetical tie breaker.
