A reminder that Gray is a pilot. He 100% knows what he's doing, and is choosing to ignore all of it.

Satellites usually orbit the earth at about 17,000 miles an hour. 17,000mph in atmosphere would vaporize damn near anything

Spirit airlines should hire you

Gotta love when Gray pushes a game so hard he hits floating point imprecision nonsense. 3D model jello is art.

We're violating all laws of aviation with this one :_Max::_pain:

2:36 "How many engines do you have, Gray?"   "Yes."

This looks like someone took the spore spaceship creator and attached a a bad flight sim to it.

4:20 "oh it totally flies" wings yeeted "well it did fly" 😂😂😂

20,000mph => Mach 26....
37,000mph => Mach 48.2...😱

He actually just made a spaceship. He fr just made a spaceshi—

I think the shaking is less the stability of the "aircraft" and more of a floating point error from being so far away from the 0,0 coordinates on the map.
Like Minecraft farlands.

Somehow, Gray is the type of youtuber I would fall asleep to and regret it

15:15 congratulations, Grey. You achieved escape velocity!🎉
Edit: For anyone wondering, one must reach over 25,000 MPH to escape earths gravitational pull.

This is why I've been watching Gray for 12 years. He gets my humor.

I remember being a kid and building legos.  The more engines the better the lego creation was in my eyes.

0:49 "if you add enough engines, there comes a point when you don't even need wings" - Some Engineering Dude

This is gonna be wild!  Let's fly!  🛬 🚀

This reminds me of back when I wrote the first in-showroom CAD system for Whirlpool Kitchens back in 1988. They tested it in my office and everyone loved it, being able to lay out cabnets and similar (e.g. appliance templates) from simple floorplan measurements. Then they rolled it out and what we saw happening were the worst abominations of misguided CAD designs; everyone knew how to use it correctly, but they couldn't keep themselves from submitting the most absurd floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall abominations for quotations to the mainframe. Nightmares returning....

Assuming the speed is in mph, Gray reached escape velocity
