fun fact to scare people: when your underwater there is no possible way to know where a sound is coming from, because it's like the sound is coming from all directions.

"The Sinking City" is a game that will do your head in if deep water scares you. Diving using a suit from the 1920s? And you shouldn't look off into the distance because the things you see WILL damage your sanity. Your character's sanity as well.

The "spending all my money on hookers" bit was so unexpected. That was a great joke.

Ah yes, people with thalassophobia will surely have a great time watching this.

Fun fact: Ryan's phobia of deep under water is his second biggest fear the first one is DJ Music Man.

As a diver and shark enthusiast, I'm intrigued to see how this goes. There aren't enough good diving games out there.

Thalassophobia, submechanophobia and megalophobia are the biggest fears of mine. It's just really chilling to know so much, yet know so little about the ocean, feel so big yet be so small in comparison to some man made objects

Thanks for playing! Getting to be the voice for Zane is both an honor and a lot of fun!

It'd be cool if the dev re-works this (or makes something like this again) and incorporates the pressure changes and dealing with bends. That FORCES the player to take their time and pause in the middle of the deep ocean while swimming openly. That would be TERRIFYING. And a great mechanic if done right!

I feel like just in the part where the protagonist fell with the cage would've already killed him for going down so fast, so is ok Ryan, if this ever happens to you, you wouldn't have to be scared at the bottom of the ocean

In the last ending when he said “I do know what to do with myself” I thought he was gonna kill himself. In most horror theme stuff good endings are rare and usually have the most horrible endings ever. The fact he got over the betrayal and the death of his brother and not let that hold him back.

please remember that sharks are not malicious by nature!!! the vast majority of sharks are curious and just hungry little guys who use their teeth and mouth to figure out what the object in front of them is! a shark would not do this, especially the sharks in most horror games and jaws!!

stop shark poaching and hunting because they are wrongly feared and pop culture has made the shark population go down over 90% from fear and overfishing.

this was a really cool game to watch and water horror is fun!! but remember that real sharks are just some fish trying to survive and don't deserve to be feared and poached.

I tried scuba diving once.
The feeling of suffocation and pure fear was incomparable to any of my previous sensations and I didn't even go that deep.
Oh well, time to take another deep dive into that sensation.
This may be a horrible experience because of my phobia, but if Ryan is doing it, I will gladly join him.

Random fact that has nothing to do with the video: The first person convicted of speeding was going 8 mph.

As a diver, I'm looking forward to this one lol. Not enough underwater horror stuff around that's decent, especially the creepy salvage stuff

Respect for playing a horror game about your phobia, I could never do that

I swear the voice actor for Zane sounds like a text to speech voice.

Horror game devs: "how do we make underwater horror games? "
That one guy: "Put sharks"
Horror game devs:"your hired! "

That Shark literally just went through the cage when Ryan died for the first time.

I absolutely hate deep ocean/water. Extremely terrifying to me 😂
