Bought a 2nd hand Kayak and decided to kayak up the river Madina in Cowes. Half way up the river is a lovely pub called the Folly Inn where I stopped for a drink. The Sunday lunch was not massive but enjoyed it in any case. I need to go back when the tide is coming in then ride the tide out.
Paddled up the river against the tide and wind so was finished by the time I arrived at the pub. Lost my hat and slipped on mud exiting the kayak at at the end.
