she did something horrible but learned and turned her life around praise god

The way Peirce Morgan treated her on his morning show was just ridiculous. I am certain she was not lying when she said she didnt know she would be leaving the country she was in until she got on the plane. I am certain she didnt know how much drugs she would be carrying and I am certain she didnt know she was actually a scape goat set up to get caught.
The guys who got her to do this.... that is their job. Get a very young high party chick to fall for him and then once she is smitten with him get her to agree to making a lot of money for something he claims is really simple that ends up being extremely worse than claimed and for some people doing it is easy for them because they have no conscience. But for some people you just stress the entire time. When you are young you go through with it realizing its worse than you were told slowly over time while in the middle of it and then your fear is what ends up getting you caught.

The way Peirce Morgan acted toward her... he will always be the biggest jerk on this planet in media. He is an a$$.
Yes she knew she was wrong. But NO she didnt know how much she would be carrying.

NOBODY in their right mind would agree to carry 2 suit causes full of cocaine back from Peru for 5 grand. NOw, you offer me 200k? I MIGHT think about it... if there is a better way then all spread throughout my luggage.

But for some rich smug asshole who never has to worry about paying a bill in his life ever again to judge someone who has nothing for doing something wrong... Go screw yourself you arrogant clown.

Having worked with addicts for 30 years she behaved as a typical addict at the time of her crime. Young, naïve and an easy target for the big fellas in charge. She made a big mistake as we all do at one time or another. You either repeat your mistakes thinking there will be a different outcome or you learn your lesson and try to do better. She's chosen the latter. Good on her for turning her life around.

I love that she took responsibility and learned so much.  Making a positive out of massive mistake.  We all screw up, but it’s what we do with it after.

Great interview

I liked the book!  Michaella clearly learned from her experiences and has a lot to share.

You people condemning her, why not give someone a second chance.

Well done!! What we’ve been through or done does not define us!! Keep on keeping on!

To all the people taking the moral high ground , you be the first one to throw a stone then . I think her being brave enough to tell her story is going to deter a lot of people from going down the same path . Hope michaela has a happy future ahead of her she deserves it

If there was a huge lesson in what she went through , then she is ok with having gone through that. She now has a great head on her shoulders and deserves all the happiness

We all learn from mistakes. The fact that she, recognized her mistakes is great 👍.

What an amazing strong woman!🙏 A true inspiration!❤️✨🙏🕊 The Media have treated you appallingly....you were groomed and manipulated into smuggling those drugs & then to be abused and manipulated by the media is disgraceful.....I hope you make a fortune with your story and I hope you keep the lot for you and your beautiful family.✨🙏

She was 19 and totally unaware of the world outside of NI. Naive and looking for a happy life.

She was also groomed into doing it. God love her.

Right off the bat they duped her.. $5000? That's ridiculous.

I just watched her on Netflix. Definitely changed her life around. I wasn’t convinced at the start but I came through for her in the end.

They shouldn't be giving her the time of day. Let alone promoting her book.

She "wrote" a book.

All the negative comments on here, I suppose it’s all coming from mini mother Teresa’s is it? She was a young girl that made a terrible mistake and she done her time for it! Good on her for making some money out of this, at least she’s sharing her story to bring awareness to this.

Ahora en netflix!

They say crime doesn't pay 🤦‍♀️
See it's paid for a new face, hair and god knows what else. Maybe the proceeds should all be donated to a charity!

Buy her book!!!!!

I find Its traumatizing to see how horrible people are being to this girl Michaela, I'm from belfast and having been to ibiza 7 times, i had just returned home from the island when she was on the front of newspapers reported missing. I couldn't wait to buy her book and find out how she ended up in such a fucked up situation. I never write comments on anything but anybody who has anything negative to say about this girl are sad lowlifes, you have the choice to turn the page, channel or look away...I havent heard her ask for sympathy once! hope the money rolls in for you Michaela I admire how she holds it all together given the abuse shes still takin. She looks absolutely gorgeous
