Thats everything ❤
My mom grew up in a dysfunctional family and had to survive things no little girl should ever have to go through. Out of five siblings, she was the only one who managed to build the kind of life she once needed herself.
She married a good man and gave me the greatest gift I’ve ever known: a happy family, a mom like her, and the kind of security that comes from knowing you can always become more than what life tried to make of you.
She’s my biggest hero, and if I can grow into even half the woman she is, I’ll know I did something right.
