When you posted the first of this series a couple days ago, I was hoping you'd eventually do a cross-grain piece and I was not disappointed.

Both are extremely good looking pieces! Leaving the live edge was a great call on the cross grain bowl, that burnt looking rim is incredible. Thank you for sharing your videos.

A very nice bowl, interesting grain. Bought a small grass tree root from a wood importer yetss ago. Really different to work with

Lovely bowl, as usual. Does grass tree have a uniform density, or are there harder and softer areas?
