You're a youngster and I'm an old lady. And as a young man, you are probably one of the only ones on social media I can stand these days for your clean language, genuine wit, and good heart attitude.
Happy to watch, endorse, and share this channel

To be fair, a lot of Americans think that the Mississippi River is longer than the Missouri

@christylenoir5282 12 days ago

People will usually say Washington when they are talking about the state and DC when they are talking about the capital.

Bro said Texas might have more coastline and pointed at the border of Mexico and Texas thinking the ocean was around it 😂

Lewis, we want to adopt you as our British born American. C’mon over!!! 🇺🇸🇬🇧

When the Constitution was written, the framers didn't want any state to include the nation's capital, a considerable advantage, so they created the District of Columbia, to be governed by congress and not be within any state.

@russellhouston5233 12 days ago

Washington DC is a federal district known as the District of Columbia, it’s not a state, or territory, or a commonwealth..

It took you until question 7 to realize that he was showing you the answer every time😂

By the way, yes that black stuff in Hawaii is lava rock and it doesn’t have to be near a volcano. The whole state of Hawaii came from lava rock.

Benjamin Franklin wanted the national bird to be the turkey.

The bald eagle's name comes from the Middle English word "balde", meaning white or white-headed.

@artaxAF 12 days ago

Lewis talking about the Texas coastline made me laugh out loud 😂

@xeres14 12 days ago

You know Lewis, you can always call Georgia if you need help with these questions. :D

@Melds 8 days ago

"Bald" historically meant "white-headed," so it's not the "without hair" we expect it to mean.

@fossilkingdom 10 days ago

Just the other day I saw 2 bald eagles flying near Mount Vernon (George Washington's house). Nothing gets more American than that

“TEXAS HAS MORE COASTLINE!!” as he points the cursor around the bottom of Texas ignoring the fact mexico is there lmao

@RyanSleight 12 days ago

Washington DC has always been in a state of confusion

@kenyaswain1962 12 days ago

They didn't want the nations capital to have a "loyalty" to any 1 state, so it is not in any state and is not a state on its own.

Everyone thinks it's the Mississippi River because it is the BIGGEST river. It carries a higher volume of water. But the Missouri River is the LONGEST. Trust me, as an American, we got taught the Mississippi River was the largest, so automatically we thought it was the longest. I can honestly say that I don't remember ever learning about the Missouri River. I only found this out as an adult lol.
