Just want yall to know, despite Skyrim being approximately 14 years old by this point, i still really enjoy these deep dives into the world and the lore you guys do. It's a strange comfort to know that even though I've played this game on - off for more than a decade, i can still sit down watch a 1h video talking about sth i already knew and still felt a sense of wonder and intrigued all the way through.

"Never eat your dessert before your veggies, to do so is to invoke the wrath of Sithis"

Always thought it was really fascinating that Skyrim’s Dark Brotherhood quest line subtly hints that Astrid is a traitor by having her break all five tenets.

1. She defiles the night mother by asking you to share her coffin.

2. She sells out the Dark Brotherhood  and reveals the location of the sanctuary to the Penitus Oculatus.

3. She refuses to acknowledge you as the listener and refuses to accept the first job given by the nightmother, only doing so when she alone decides it’s in her best interest.

4. She asks you to steal Cicero’s journal.

5. She tasks you with killing Cicero.

This might also imply that the “Wrath of Sithis” is supernatural beyond a mere spectral figure, but also acts through fate and may possibly be acting through the Dragonborn.

When you're playing the dark brotherhood questline. You get this summon for specter of an old dark brotherhood assassin. When you're about to face Cicero after Astrid tells you to kill him. If you have that spector out he will tell you straight up Sithis does not want Cicero dead.

I like to imagine that every time I start this quest in Skyrim, theyre just waiting for my character to finally go to sleep. But, since my character may go weeks, months or even years without sleeping, they're probably thinking "By the gods, what is this person made of? Weve watched him for months, maybe years, and he had yet to sleep. The orphan boy that performed the black sacrament is now a grown adult with children we've waited for so long"

"You pull a prank? That'll invoke the wrath of Sithis."
"You whisper to your buddy durring a meeting? That'll invoke the wrath of Sithis."

Sweet muppet, sweet muppet,
Send your videos unto me,
For the sins of the unenlightened
Must be baptized in lore and canon.

Something interesting about the dark brotherhood questline in skyrim, is even if you choose to “destroy” the dark brotherhood, Babette and Cicero, and the nightmother will not be present. This was likely done deliberately so bethesda could canonize Titus Mead’s death for the next game. Without it necessarily needing to involve the dragonborn.

After nearly another cosmic turn of the Kalpic Cycle, it's finally happened... Scott the Chimer, of the Fudgemuppet Tribual, has blessed the Mundus with his presence. 🙏🏾

Oblivion's Dark brotherhood was so memorable, legitimately one key note, the cleansing of thr sanctuary felt heavy because it was very personal. The fact he listed off each target made them feel the lives about to end meant something.

I wonder if in Skyrim, you are the "wrath of Sithis". You can choose to just wipe out the sanctuary which is actually considered good for the brotherhood as Astrid is a traitor. Whether you serve them or not, whatever option you choose is positive for the brotherhood as a whole

24:15 Tenet 37: You miss a doctor's appointment? Believe it or not, Wrath of Sithis.

A little thing about this video I like is the subtitles at the bottom of the screen. It’s little stuff like that is just very nice.

So about two years ago, I developed cataracts (BAD genetics), they came on very fast. For almost a year I couldnt see at all and this channel amongst a couple others was the only thing I had until I could get the money together to remove the cataracts. I always enjoyed yalls deep dives and lore talk (shout-out to the podcast!) like this video. Thanks fellas :)

"Sweet mother, sweet mother, send your child unto me, for the sins of the unworthy must be baptized in blood and fear."

24:21  ‘To do so is to-‘ ‘to invoke the wrath of sithis yeah I’m getting that’

A lot of people hypothesize that the body that Arentino uses is the one of his dead mother, the reason he was sent to the orphanage in the first place. If she was preserved in Nordic fashion as a draugr, plus the cold climate of Windhelm, it might have kept her heart and organs fresh enough.

Thank you guys for still making elder scrolls content. No other elder scrolls YouTuber does it better!

These guys are still making Skyrim videos!? I was on my first kid last time I was here and she’s 9 now! Lmao!

EDIT: that sounded rude I just meant it’s awesome they’re still this dedicated and from what I can tell their narrating, editing and acting skills have sky rocketed to god like levels

Considering Aventus Arentino lived in Windhelm, the same city as a murderer performing necromantic rituals, I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to obtain some part from a certain "House of Wonders."
