"Twice Removed" was recorded at Third Coast Comedy Club in Nashville, TN, on February 9, 2023. The end result is a filmed special and 16-track album with a runtime of 54 minutes full of tight punchlines about growing up Jewish in the South. Long-form stories include Berke’s misadventures on his way to chronicle the BET Hip Hop Awards and his thoughts on future fatherhood. Berke’s commitment to high-quality audio and visuals is evident throughout thanks to exemplary work by film director Matthew Crosby, audio engineer Mike Purcell, and producer Marie Anderson (Reformed Whores). Belly-aching laughter is audibly punctuated with heart-wrenching reactions to Berke’s recollection of a near-death experience, at 17, which almost took his left hand—and inadvertently started his comedy career.

"Twice Removed" (the album) debuted no. 1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts. Listen now!
