Price of your piece can mean a lot. If you go to business classes they show you how to run a sale. I found that a lot of times raising the price I got less argument on the price of the piece. Sales cheapens your product, which you don't want to do. Knowing your market and what you can charge is a big factor too.

I work in acrylics so what I’ve done is instead of lowering the price, I take it offline. Make a good scan of it and gesso over the piece. Reuse the canvas. One painting I recently sold actually has two gessoed bad pieces underneath it.

So, basically, it's about the Experience, not (just) the Product. That totally makes sense! @1:23

I create art by painting on glass, but the problem is that it doesn't "show" well online.

Fantastic tips! I don’t sell my artwork. The most I do is give away to family so I can keep an eye on my work. I don’t like parting with it. I have sold pieces in the past but it’s extremely rare. I’ll still keep these in mind if I decide to change that one day. :)

Buy , before Prices are Raised 😊

90% of people wouldn't know fine art if they fell over it! When I exhibit, amazingly, two things that the 90% are most concerned with are 1.) The size of the piece. 2.) The price. Yikes!

Fiding the right buyer. I paint animals--wild, livestock, pets and rural American landscapes in realism. It is hard to find the right places to sell and exhibit. Subject matter makes a difference. Getting people to your website is tough.
I wish I had some answers.

I remember that comment you mentioned too. It really inspired me to change what I’m doing. My first step is to find my art style and my thing. Question tho, do you have to keep to doing one thing? Say landscapes and do you have to stay with one medium 🤔 to be able to sell art in this way? I have a video coming up where I chat about art style and how I’m looking for mine 😁 I love your videos. 😊

Thank you so much for making this!! This year I’m really tying to get better and sell my artwork. Ever since I was a child I wanted to be a full time artist and I’m hoping this year I can be!!
