When I took the PRF exam, there were 120 questions.
I could have tried to answer them all.
I didn't.
I answered 102 questions, left 18 blank, and only got 8 wrong.
Result:
94 correct answers - 8 incorrect answers = 86 net points.
And I even managed to ace Portuguese and Official Writing.
In that exam format, it wasn't enough to know the content. You needed to know how to manage risk.
A question I wasn't confident about answering could turn a point gained into a point lost.
Therefore, my exam wasn't based on marking everything.
It was based on three things:
content, strategy, and emotional control.
Sometimes, exam maturity also means knowing which questions you shouldn't answer.
That's how I built my 86 net points on the PRF exam.
And it's this kind of practical experience that I want to bring here: not just the subject matter, but what really happens when you sit down to take the exam.
COMMENT here: would you mark everything or manage the risk?
