Being an Avenged Sevenfold fan is not easy. You are forced to change your favorite song all the time because all of them are fuckin amazing

Hot take, but this song should be put on the same pedestal as songs like bohemian rhapsody and stairway to heaven.

Doctor: I'm sorry, but you have five minutes left to live.
Me: Play 'Save Me' by Avenged Sevenfold
Doctor: But that's longer than five minutes. . .
God: I'll allow it.

tonight we all die young

People who don't like Avenged Sevenfold are missing out. One of my favorite bands of all time!

Fun fact: The Rev was the one who shouted "skull" at the beginning, and it was actually the last recording he ever did before his passing

Edit for clarity: yes, Fiction was the last SONG Jimmy ever recorded, but the "skull" was the last actual recording of his voice in the studio. No one knows why he did it, but they decided to include it

someone in 2025?? this is still a masterpiece

Happy New Year Everyone 🎉

0:45 This part after Rev says "Skull", that long continuous creepy sombre background choir-like vocal "OooOooOoooOooOooo" Gosh I really love that.

For someone that is grieving, this song hurts and slaps at the same time

This song is a mixture of beauty and brutality

2024 anyone, still the best album by avenged to date! So much passion in this album and will stand the test of time.

11 minutes of my life well spent.

An 11 minute song that feels like 2 minutes

Skull
They all know, they all know

Sorry, did I wake your dream, some questions run too deep
We only, only wake up when we sleep
Led by the lunar light, trouble's all we'd find
Lost our way tonight

Is it something we said?
Is it something we said to them?
Is it something we said?

Save me
I'm trapped in a vile world
Save me
Where the end game's all the same as every other
We're only here to die
Save me
I'm losing my only dream
Save me
I can use some guiding light, some place to go
If you hear me, let me know

They all know, they all know

Ever since the day you left my fates been set unknown
How many years to walk this path alone?
So much to see tonight, so why'd you close your eyes?
Why can't I shut mine?

Is it something we did?
Is it something we did to them?
Is it something we did?

Save me
I'm trapped in a vile world
Save me
Where the end game's all the same as every other
We're only here to die
Save me
I'm losing my only dream
Save me
I can use some guiding light, some place to go
If you hear me, let me know
If you hear me, let me know

Help me find my way
Said help me find my way

No pulse inside of me
Stone cold lips and heresy
All lies and to a degree
Losing you I wanna be, oh
You'll find out right now

He may be out of his mind, but someday you will find
That sanity has left us all blind, and dragged us all behind
A moment seen through those eyes, crystal blue disguise
They say that all beauty must die, I say it just moves on

If you'd only open your mind, then someday you will find
Insanity left us behind, and walked right through the door
I can see the picture's clear as yesterday
Pictures all my own
I can hear the voices begging you to stay
But know you're not alone

Save me
I'm trapped in a vile world
Save me
Where the end game's all the same as every other
We're only here to die
Save me
I'm losing my only dream
Save me
I can use some guiding light, some place to go
If you hear me, let me know
If you hear me, let me know

Tonight we all die young
Tonight we all die young
Tonight we all die young
Tonight we all die young

Tonight we all die young
Tonight we all die young
Tonight we all die young

Tonight we all die
Tonight we all die young

I feel like this song is so underrated

good part 0:00 - 10:57

Synester gates has talent that no other guitarist has and will ever have in there entire life

Came back here to heal my soul after Ashes. How far we have fallen man.

Is it just me, or is this song so good that it FEELS short?
