Sept 2026, I am presently at Callejon del Combate in Centro Tenerife accepting my inheritance (3 flats and 1 comnercial; building). Should I sell it or keep it? And I want to grow my own vegetables too. Hmmm And its easy to extract water from the air, science is easy. Thank you for sharing this information.

Hi greetings from Bulgaria !! I want to move there next year and tour videos are very usefull.

Prices have soared here in Florida, US.    I spend $8000 per year on groceries for a retired family of two.  We would make a huge profit selling our home, but would spend it all on a new home unless we moved out of the country.  We are trying to grow more of our own food, but the soil is bad, the summers too long and way too hot.

Sounds a lot like the issues people have in Hawaii

Why don't you create videos in your native language? Your English is too bad for blogging

thank you so much for sharing your story. Blessings from the Netherlands. I’m coming in December to Tenerife on vacation ❤🇳🇱n

Don't they grow lamb and goats wouldn't there be fresh lamb and goat meat on the island?

One of the main reasons why rents and property prices have risen so much is the significant population growth on the island, with many people moving here from other parts of Europe. In the municipalities of Granadilla de Abona, San Miguel de Abona, and Arona, the population has increased by around 50,000 people since 2015, while very few new housing developments have been built since the 2008 financial crisis.
I have lived here for 25 years, and I have seen the housing situation become increasingly difficult over time. The imbalance between population growth and the limited supply of new housing has put considerable pressure on the local housing market.
Similar challenges can also be seen in countries such as Austria, where housing has become much more expensive as demand continues to outpace the available supply.
Depending on your circumstances, you might find that mainland Spain offers more affordable housing options and a wider choice of properties.

🙏

loved it

Wow it looks beautiful and it reminds me of Hawaii. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I used to know someone who had  lived  in tenneriffe and she  said the people were lovely. So I guess that the people  taking you and your  family in their arms  is just normal. ❤

Don’t worry about the kids and their future opportunities at all. Two reasons: 1. A happy, carefree childhood is priceless and will create opportunities in admirable soft skills. 2. AI is going to change everything and level the playing field. Be happy. Enjoy nature. Love each other. By 2030- the entire world will change. Freedom will be defined differently. Good weather will be everything!!

Go to Spain in August, its an oven

I spent a month in Santa Cruz, Tenerife this January and liked it a lot.  Nice weather and not at all expensive.

I like that you waited a few years to tell your experience.  Congratulations, you are making a life together, away from your home.

Best video about a place. We traveled in many countries and lived and most videos are so.shallow.not.at all real. Thank you

Starkes Video. Vielen Dank!

The request by the Canary Islands government for a partial ban on property sales to other EU citizens will never be accepted by Brussels — not in a million years. Second, Santa Cruz is the last place I would want to live in Tenerife.

Third, the winter weather in Málaga is around 25% worse than in Tenerife. It is also much quieter in Málaga during the winter months than in Tenerife. So be careful what you wish for.

I really appreciate what you do. This may not be the most suitable channel for a more complex discussion, but I would like to ask what opportunities I might have to find work in Tenerife in the media field (cameraman-editor). I speak Spanish and English, as I lived in Spain between 2004 and 2009, and I have several years of experience in television in Romania, as well as in media, marketing, content creation, and advertising.

I would appreciate it if you could guide me on where I could look for work in this field in Tenerife, and how I could send my CV and part of my portfolio.

Thank you very much!
