"I just hope he wins in the way he wants to win." Sigh of relief from me having seen reactors who are a little disappointed he doesn't win the title. I appreciate those who understand the personal victories for both he and Adrian.

As Cassie and her sister say, the story of Rocky is a love story more than a story about boxing. You will love this series and I can't wait for you to watch all the rest of them. 😍

I always interpreted Mick telling Rocky to stay down as Mick caring so much for Rocky and he thought he might die, but i could be wrong. Great reaction!!!

I like that the loan shark has an affection for Rocky, even before he gets his big break.

Adrian yelling in Paulie's face "I'm not a LOSER!" is such a great moment.
So was Mari's spontaneous "Yo Adrian!"

This is not a boxing film, this is one of the greatest romance films ever made!

I cry EVERY time he runs after Mick and I've seen it dozens of times lol just a golden, perfect film

One of my favorite things is watching younger generations watch and fall in love with Rocky - the person and the movies. Great reaction.

The second movie is a must! Please react to “Rocky II”. The whole series may not be necessary, but the first few are wonderful.

Sylvester Stallone still has Cuff and Link the two turtles. Sylvester wrote this movie with himself in mind, he created the break that launched his career

"Where's your hat?" Ladies, if the key to your heart is a man who will take care of you, this is the most romantic line in history. ❤

The reason Mickey tells Rocky to stay down is that Rocky has taken a beating and Mickey doesn't want him to get seriously hurt.

00:17 I love how so many reactors respect each other and treat this like a community.

"Why did his trainer want him to stay down?"

He cares about him, and doesn't want him to get hurt. At this point in the fight he has nothing left to prove.

A love story sandwiched between two fight scenes. Iconic music and a montage that had high school boys puking trying to be like Rocky. Classics are classic for a reason despite the genre.

7:24 "you run with dogs, you get fleas."

Stallone also wrote the script. He refused to sell unless he could play Rocky. This made him a star.

Stallone STILL owns those two Turtles. They are alive and well.

I think Sylvester Stallone was really broke and an unknown before this film. He also wrote the script. The film is fantastic.

Rocky reminds me to never lose hope. There's a chance for for everyone in life, and when it comes I'll have to work hard, and whatever the outcome the result would surprise even myself. Rocky's theme will always be special to me.
