My First 6 Weeks After Rotator Cuff Surger...

What are the first three months after rotator cuff surgery really like? I’m sharing my recovery from those early days in a sling to the point where everyday life finally started feeling more normal.

I had two tendons repaired in my right shoulder along with a biceps tenodesis. In this video, I walk through sleeping in a recliner, getting out of the sling, progressing through physical therapy, returning to the gym for legs and my non-surgical arm, and improving my range of motion.

Around weeks 10–12, I started noticing a big difference. I’m still rebuilding, and strength has a long way to go—but looking back at where I started, the progress has been encouraging.

If you’re early in your recovery, I hope seeing the whole journey helps. Subscribe to follow what comes next, including my goal of eventually getting back to golf.
