The narrative of treating them softly seems to have ramped up in the last 24 hours.

The only harmful thing to the Premier League is letting them off lightly and opening the door for others to start doing similar

You talk about "Charges", but 114/115 being found guity by the Independent Commission, doesn't that make them "Convictions"?

@luthomabandla 5 hours ago

The only way is expulsion. And the owners need to go.

Sunday 11th October 16:30. Liverpool supporters, remember you're representing 90 other league teams. Give them hell.

Has anyone seen Elliot Anderson’s agent lately. Someone said he’s gone missing ?

DENY DELAY DEFLECT

City shouldn't be allowed to play anymore tbh not fair they get to take points away from other teams with their own sham team

Alan Pardew stated that Arsenal's Premier League title win should come with an asterisk... what does he say about Man Citys title wins?

We live in the times of post truth. Madness.

The only way this is bad, potentially catastrophic for the PL, is if they don't punish City appropriately.

@Demongdn 2 hours ago

Fed up listening about the cheats. City were in the third division when the PL was evolving to being the best. They’ll not be missed - get on with it. Stop dramatising

The UAE and the Uk relationship is untenable we can’t be blackmailed by this country

@curbowbass6124 5 hours ago

There’s no real good outcome from this. Regardless of how, or if, City are punished, it will affect a lot more than just City. What an absolute mess. Feels like an Arby’s night.

They can't be allowed to win the title / qualify for the CL this season, regardless of where they finish. With this being so, are they going to PLAY WITH INTEGRITY (ie don't go soft against weaker teams) -- or - should they just be expelled from English football, forever, asap (if they refuse to play ball, sts)???
And all this BEFORE we even begin to consider their real punishment for the enormous piss-take!!!

Football was ruined in this country with the introduction of the premier league. It brought money and corruption.

@frankedward4556 3 hours ago

In the past teams have been deducted points resulting in relegation for breaking rules and fined. This should be the minimum penalty.

@crumpsall86 43 minutes ago

Every time they appeal and lose , the sanctions whatever they might be, should double

My gran knows more about modern football than Pardew…. and she’s been dead for 30-years

If they put them in the championship that's criminal they need to go to the bottom look at Scotland and rangers they got out to the very bottom city need to be removed this isn't cheating etc it's fraud systematic from not a company but a family , nation government they are not separate this is nuts this family are removing democratic and legal functions within the system by first committing fraud and then by denying it under dubious statements is shocking they need to
