Starting with literally nothing in The Sims 1 is the hardest challenge the game can throw at you, but I want to see if we can survive it together.

REMEMBER do not buy anything from EA. With the incoming sale of EA to the Saudi Arabian investment fund and Jared Kushner, EA's profits will directly financially contribute to the harm of women, LGBTQIA+ people and other marginalised groups.
If you still want to play the old Sims games, buy physical copies from resellers (you can often find The Sims base game and expansions on eBay for a very low price). If you don't have a disc drive, you can also buy cheap USB drives to install the games. Buying from Steam instead of the EA app still benefits EA.
