When you think about it, this might be the most brutal infection you’ve done.

Having parasites growing inside you is bad enough but having your entire body turning to sand and collapsing in on itself is a whole another level!

imagine having your insides slowly turned into sand. Now imagine doing that to an unspeakable eldritch horror, and worst of all, though it cannot move, it cannot think, it's brain and bones reduced to dust within a hardened husk, it's heart still beats, what's left still tries to live, but there's nothing to move, no muscle to stretch, no bone to pivot, no mind left to think, no nerves left to carry pain through the system. It's just sand.

Wither Storm: "I shall feast upon your being"
the nefarious Pharaoh's slab in my back pocket:

Wither storm: im thirsty

I'm just imagining the Wither Storm coughing up copious amounts of sand like that one Spongebob episode.

"Reuben will be remembered"❎️

Reuben will be avenged✅️

Desertification mod’s creator here. Thanks again for covering my mod, a couple of notes :

   • The sandstorm wasn’t spawning (probably) because the desert was too small
   • The sentient rift (probably) didn’t spawned too because of the desert size and the moon phase (they can only spawn during full and new moon)
   • I will probably change the tainted flesh to be converted to sandstone (while still allowing desert spreading) to prevent everything from collapsing. And I will also add the dust and mushroom to the desert_remove tag.
   • The wither symbiont and heads weren’t attacked probably because they were not in the infected tag (I will fix this).  Regardless, if I remember well, the wither symbiont can only be damaged in short windows.
   • Some of my mod’s mechanics (gusts, sandstorms, mobs) can only work at the surface for now. Opening the roof of the dimension was the only was they could spawn here

Some of my rough potential ideas for next updates (in no order after the first, they may end up getting scrapped) : Welwitschia Mirabilis stuff (working on it); maybe some structures/ruins that will temporarily spawn in the desert, (they will not break your house, chests nor landscapes) after which they will phase out of reality; maybe a mob themed around dead logs; maybe an “upgraded” version of the overcharged sand rose; maybe more altar rituals.

As always, I’m open to suggestions

We aren't infecting it, we are deserting it

Pharaoh's curse

If you think about it, the infections you put in it is basically a virus in the mobs that spawn inside it is just “white blood cells”.

shouldve named the video "what if the wither storm ate a popeyes biscuit"

He literally went from a witherstorm to a sand storm.

If the inside wasn't a separate dimension the wither storm would be dead, it would literally fall out of the sky.

Idea: try and create your own mod that adds a TNT block that turns surrounding blocks into TNT of that same variety over time, then use it inside the wither storm (infect the wither storm with TNT)

The desert erodes all.
Evil or not the desert claims all the same

Wither storm vs wrath of ra

4:37 actually it's literally just bedrock. It's textured bedrock

1:18 hehe "holy cow"

The wither storm is given pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
