Curious to hear what ways you eliminate feedback in your situation. Feedback is welcomed LOL

I must have been ringing out my PA and Monitors wrong for my entire career.  Doing mostly corporate.  I have at least 4 GEQs and tons of subtractive PEQs my subgroups, mains, aux sends, and matrices; and I still have feedback during shows.  From watching this video I can see that I need to start using wide-band EQ moves rather than trying to notch-filter an entire frequency.  Although I am using omni lav mics as opposed to the dynamic mic you're using.  I'm just amazed that you rang out that monitor with 2 PEQs used lightly.  Well done!

Best way is to move to IEMs. DONE!

Excellent tips and info. The fun with corporate gigs is when you already did everything in rehearsal, and people who hear themselves for real in the actual gig get super quiet on even a headset mic cause they think they are too loud in front of a real audience. My favorite with live bands is they bring in vocal effects pedals that I've had at least 3 different bands last year say " I just got it today, we're trying it out" it's a whole new world of constant performer gain changes to watch and sweep eq 😅 keep the positive vibes man

GOLDEN info!!.. Thanks!

Sir thanks for this as someone just getting started this is gold very much appreciated!!

Eq the monitor lol. I never get feedback on monitors

Feedback sound man nightmare

I only recently found your channel so thank you for uploading these videos 'behind the scenes' as you work. I'm very grateful to you for sharing your thoughts on the processes. It seems you like to EQ the mic and THEN the monitor itself. Is that preferable to EQ-ing the monitor first then fine tuning the mic or is the end result the same in terms of feedback control and  sound quality heard by the artist? Best wishes to you man

Thanks for sharing

Hi Byron
Great content thank you.
I'm not familiar with digital desks, that's a game changer having EQ on the Aux.
I also recognise the issue with the band member that's going a little deaf.  I used to sound engineer for an Irish band and one of the guitarist always had his back line turned up to 11.  Nightmare.
Thanks again for the content.

Thank you! ✌️♥️

Thank you so much for this.
Very useful for musicians wanting to know more about getting the best sound from small portable p.a. systems.

Thank you sir ❤

My name is Buck Moore, and I approve of this message! Great video!

Valuable...I definitely have to rewatch this and practice

Thank you.

I've started to additionally insert 31 band graphic eqs into my lavs for extra help. Thanks for the videos!!
