It feels like this match combined with the 2005 Rome final loss against Nadal just completely broke Coria's spirit. He was never the same after.

20 years has passed😮 its feels like yesterday when I watched this game live

It's very difficult to maintain that same level of play when you win a set 6-0. Coria was perturbed that he lost 3 games in the second and Gaudio didn't lay down. Amazing heart from Gaudio to stick in there and his winning speech if I can remember was really a tear jerker.

Who's here after the 2025 RG final? :)

Roland varroa is officially the first tournament that has learned how to post highlights

This will be my favourite Roland Garros final forever.

Had to rewatch this and yep, this is a bigger choke than sinner's one today

What makes it worse for Coria is this was the last year that roland garros was up for grabs

One of the greatest comebacks ever

If Gaudio's RG 2004 doesn't deserve a movie, I don't know what does...

It is insane who would have thought that from next year onwards there will come a guy who will change the history of this event. Supreme domination this will never be repeated again mark my words.

20 Roland-Garros was played since this final. And only 4 others guys won it. 👀

one of the best games i ever watched live. definately one of the most memorable come backs and chokes in sports history. I was so happy for Gaudio. dont know why but i just couldnt digest Coria.
