So many of these so-called shamans in Mexico City just use a mishmash of bits and pieces from lots of different cultures mixed up with their own imagination and all kinds of things that appeal to people who have no knowledge of indigenous culture. I don't know about this guy but that's my suspicion. Do you want to do this for fun? Okay. But please don't pretend that this is some type of ancient tradition. It's probably not even Maya, and this guy probably isn't Maya.
