I remember one Zee News article headline which said “Alia Bhatt’s RRR to be Nominated for Oscars,” and I was wondering if it was written by Karan Johar 😂

Writers and Directors deserve praises first not actors in every movie

I think Kedarnath suffered the same PR issue as this was the debut film of Sara Ali Khan. Sushant wasn't given much credit despite carrying the film all alone.

Shraddha's fanbase is so insane that it looks like PR

@mohitrawat5225 2 years ago

That's why I love actors like Cillian Murphy who only focus on their work, avoid "stardom" and don't care about PR or whatever and plus he is actually a phenomenal actor.

I thought that I was the only one who noticed the Stree 2 injustice 😢

shraddha's char is more like an extended cameo at best . The chaotic group of rajkumar , abhishek(omg), aparshakti and pankaj tripathi is the main attraction of this movie.

PR is to only to make an Actor a Star!
But it is still up to the Actor to make himself a SUPER STAR!!

Reminds me of Sarbjit (2016). Randeep Hooda did the heavy lifting, body transformation and good acting. But Aishwarya Rai despite mediocre acting got the credit. Even in promo events you could see Randeep being sidelined.

I watched it for Shraddha kapoor❤. But no doubt it was a collective effort

Jammy is competing with Akshay Kumar in terms of consistency.

7:30 probably the most humble and soft behaviour I have seen of Salman Khan in decades. He genuinely was praising Siddharth ❤

Adipurush: it's because of bollywood and om raut

Kalki: Prabhas the biggest superstar...

Stree 2 is everyone's blood and sweat. We should totally agree but the production house extensively used Shraddha's popularity and stardom to hype the movie and yes her character was a question mark at the end of Stree 1 and people tend to know about her identity. Shraddha who does 1 movie per year also acted as a major fact for the crowd pull. So one can't criticize Shraddha that she is taking the credit . She herself said that it is everyone's movie.

shrddha has huge fan base despite being sidelined by big directors

@AhmedAllRounder5oct 2 years ago

I totally agree.
It was Rajkumar Rao who stole the show, I still can't get his baby calm down out of my mind.
No denying Shraddha being very talented

Let’s be honest if it wasn’t for the villains in dhoom series the films would’ve tanked. Abhishek should thank the villains for keeping his career alive 🤓

The credit goes to everyone in Street 2. Without Bittu and his girlfriend's involvement people wouldn't have known about Sarkata, without Jana, Stree's daughter and Vicky would've lost, without Stree's daughter they would've never been able to go to the other world, without Rudra, no one would've known about stree let alone Sarkata and without Vicky, everyone would lose.

So everyone deserves credit here. It's sad that PR is doing such a nasty job and believe me Shraddha is not at fault here and shouldn't be blamed at all.

I completely believe that Stree 2 work because of plot , execution and acting. Not denying that Rajkumar rao did heavy lifting. And most importantly it was a successful sequel. But i am pretty sure if shraddha wasn't there movie wouldn't have crossed 250 crores for sure. Shraddha has that sweet lovely presence in insta which made this movie buzzz twice

One thing that i don't understand most of the time when a male lead is given all the credit for a movie's success no one has the guts to say anything but when it's a female lead then everyones ego gets hurt. Amir khan said this once that the male actors get more credit and pay because mostly their face and name is used for the promotion they are the brand because of which people come to watch movie. In stree 2 case shraddha was the brand for promotion of the movie her popularity was used for the promotion. The movie is good there is no doubt in that but not all good movies get successful when they release.
