"That guy with the braids, he's like super popular"... man I know you're new to this but words hurt 😂

19:00 F1 cars cost 15-20mil, the 150mil they refereed earlier likely includes all the RND that went into creating the car. Cars in wrecks also get repaired, and parts salvaged, for example the steering wheel can cost up to 100k but you don't necessarily need to scrap it after a crash. Fans actually track the "world destructors championship" throughout a season and try to estimate which driver has cost their team the most money in repairs.

I liked the fact that active F1 race driver Lewis Hamilton was a part of this movie as a producer and as a cameo

That Race in Toronto you're talking about, is an IndyCar race. Only F1 race in Canada is at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.

Various F1 drivers of the 2025 season make appearances at multiple points in the movie. Max Verstappen, for example, was mentioned a few times and he even has a line saying "That was naughty" when Sonny pulled a maneuver in front of him. Other racers had prominent cameos such as with Carlos Sainz, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc just to name a few. My favourite cameo was with Fernando Alonso when he fist bumps Sonny while talking to the press.

The annual performance related budget for a F1 team is 135 million, she referring to the car as a 150 million "jungle gym" was a metaphor regading their annual budget.  Typical price for a current year F1 car is about 20 million.

This movie was an amazing experience in theaters

the crash that Sonny had nighmares about sadly is a real incident happened to driver named Martin Donnelly but it ended his career but not his life which is always good and when it comes to f1 speed this season 2025 is 357,1 km/h and highest average speed was set up last week in GP Monza by Max Verstappen that yopuve seen in this movie the red bull driver and the average speed was 264,7 km/h. Monza is high-speed circuit but even for that its insane and also its highest LAP AVERAGE speed in history of F1

You guys would love Rush (2013)! That one is a true story.

Think about this, the steering wheel on most F1 racers costs an estimated 100k. The steering wheel cost more than most homes and cars.

F1 was an incredible film to see at the theater. It is up there with Top Gun Maverick. Please let them get Tom Cruise if they make a sequel!

2:22 The Molson Indy race is an Indycar race (same cars as the Indy 500), F1 looks similar, but they are a completely different series. Best way to describe is like comparing MCU movies and DCU movies they both are superheroe movie but they are completely different from each other.

49:25 damn girl lol

They added Las Vegas (my city) to the  F1 circuit..and it's coming up on year 3 in November.

12:48 Just bald tires except for rain 😁

28:52 Damn it Justin 😂

They filmed this movie on actual F1 race tracks working around the flow of the races over two years. For those of us who love this sport the cameos were gold. Maclaren allowed Brad to drive Lando’s car on a closed track. It is a great clip to checkout

Me and my Dad saw this in IMAX when it was rereleased . So freaking good!

Sonny sees himself in JP but also he is still trying to prove he is just as good if not better. It is humbling, having to realize you are someone’s competitor & mentor. But the bond they built & the respect on both sides were earned. JP earned Sonny’s respect when JP followed his lead when it came to the team. Sonny earned JP’s respect when Sonny influenced him to play for the love of the game & not anything else. Both lost their Dad’s at the same age, both love the game. JP giving Sonny the win made me cry like a baby. It is such a beautiful gift. And he gave him that gift because Sonny gave JP a gift as well. The beauty of teamwork. This movie & Sinners are the two films this year that spoke to me deeply. Two completely different genres but gave me the same feeling of awe.

Can’t believe yall skipped the part where he talks about flying

Been waiting for this Reaction!
