On wood vs synthetic materials. Wood is very repairable and it looks nice

Hey, Marshall.  Why can't someone put a 49% Boveda pack in a Ziplock with an inexpensive digital hydrometer, see what number it hits, and then just use that number as the new normal mark?  If it says 49%...great!  If it says 69%...then from there on, we aim to keep it at "69%."  Not a good idea?  Because...why?  I just keep wondering if there is a more accessible (read "lazy and cheap") way for us mere mortals to control the ambient humidity.  Great video as always!

Well...we've been gluing ebony piano keys together for making our fret boards.
Haven't had any problems  but this is with hide glue and heating up the ebony first is key!  LOL.
I'll say it again! get the  wood hot 110 deg+ before hide glue so the glue is drawn in whilst cooling.
Try it you'll see, maybe.

Nice video! For me the armrest, or any alternative that softens that edge and does not touch the soundboard are a right forearm/hand saviour.
I'm thinking of getting a tornavoz in one of my guitars as a way of giving an edge to the bass response and taming  the guitar's screaming treble response. I tried several ductaped paper prototypes and found that a 7cm long tornavoz seems to be a good option. It also seems to tame a couple of dead notes. What are your thoughts on this?

I played low action steel string for a decade. I play a yamaha ntx1, set again to perverted low action. Now i want to buy a classical classical but the action and the neck widths are killing me :(
