Excellent! I use a taller ground hide here in Montana, setting it up the afternoon before morning's shoot. I also shoot underneath the hide wall at water level with water birds.
At age 70, I can no longer lay on my belly and be comfortable for hours.
I sit comfortably in a padded chair since I am in the hide at least an hour before sunrise...I use the camera flip screen and eye tracking for the photography at ground level.
I am usually in the hide for at least 3 hours in the morning until the light starts to get harsh.

Have you ever tried a floating hide? They are a lot of work but great for getting out amongst it and getting down really low

Good video, thanks for sharing. In case you're interested, there are specially designed ergonomic pillows that allow you to rest your chest while lying down, so you don't put as much strain on your back muscles.

Great video thanks! The hide looks like those mini version of full size tents, the front bit, we see at sporting goods stores for display, had a bit of a giggle. I had a one man hiking tent of similar size back in my hiking days, very very small. Remember that Steven King movie IT when the bad guy is peeping out from the drain..... ;)

I need to buy a hide....not sure what to get just yet....

Beautiful photography, I am so glad you popped up in my recommended choice. I have subscribed to see much more. What a nifty hide! Are there any rules as to where they can or can't be used? I would love to invest in one, I usually use my car as a mobile hide, but of course that has its limits.
