I have to say Sally Field is a great actress

Love Sally Fields. I don't think she ever did anything I don't like. Thank you for posting this for us.  Well worth watching.

Just about ready to dive into this film, but had to come here first to say: Screenwriter is Marsha Norman?? Holy cow!! An AMAZING playwright. Won a Pulitzer for her play "'night, Mother" which I was honored to get to act in 40 years ago. There's also a film version starring Sissy Spacek and Anne Bancroft with astonishing performances by both women. Be prepared to weep if you check it out. I don't ususally write with superlatives, but it's remarkable work all the way around. (Back to the movie!)

If you thought this movie was going to be a thriller, you would be very wrong. It's not even called Deadly Call.

What an inspirational movie; and a happy, feel-good ending! Awesome acting and strong encouraging women roles. Made my day. I seldom watch these movies to the end, but I will watch this one over and over.  I wish we could see more like this. Thank you so much!!!
