A sequel to the Soviet animated hit about the adventures of Uncle Fyodor. The plot once again centers on the hero of the Soviet trilogy, Uncle Fyodor, but the action shifts to 2018. The boy lives in the city with his mother, father, and younger sister, Vera Pavlovna, a new character in the animated series. Suddenly, a jackdaw named Khvatayka flies into the apartment and announces that Matroskin and Sharik need help. The parents are busy with their own concerns, and Uncle Fyodor, without thinking twice, heads to Prostokvashino to join his old friends in catching an unknown pest—a rodent named Tama-Tama.
