Eric Westmoreland is absolutely one of my favorite football players of all time

He was maybe not as recognized by some because that defense had so much talent and so many big names

But he was special in college no question about it

Outstanding insightful show, not the institutionalized pablum offered on many programs. You weave a very human element into your information.
We often refer to coach speak and I think we can get into a podcast speak...I don't get that with you guys.

When I saw Austin Simmons' available in the portal I thought he should be our target, not cheap (2 mil.) but not out of our price range. We wouldn't be so one dimensional and much more lethal on offense and 5-0.

Again, thank you and a great show.

You mention the '98 Vols team not getting their due. I remember watching that season and thinking in so many games the Vols offense tried their best to give the win away, but the opponents just seemed to never take them! For a team to get the due, they need both offense and defense to shine, and that year I just didn't feel like the Vols offense looked great that year. Without that defense, we would have never won the SEC, much less a natty.

Faizon in TX game threw long TD to Mathews and hail Mary at end of game. He is not injured.

I think they are a top tier defense in the SEC! Not the best obviously but top 5 for sure probably top 3

The difference between the two qbs is mostly from the neck up, and GMac is more accurate with the ball. Brandon is better runner, but still seems to think he is the best athlete on the field . I time…he’ll be fine. GMac sees the field, processes what he sees, and executes with an accurate ball. His receivers seem to respond better to him, Leadership. Florida ruined a good qb in Lagway by trying to play him too soon. I hope we don’t do that with Brandon, and I trust Coach Hype to manage the kid to everyone’s mutual benefit.
