As part of my work with O Scale Central, I was asked to help preserve and re-share the video productions of the late Terry Terrance, whose work captured some truly outstanding 2-rail O scale layouts.
Terry had a gift for documenting model railroads. His videos remain an important part of the 2-rail O scale community, and it’s an honor to help ensure they continue to be seen and enjoyed.
This third release features Chris Smith's fantastic N&W layout, another beautifully executed railroad with strong prototype inspiration and outstanding attention to detail. Enjoy all of the beautiful big steam on Chris' pike!
Whether you’re a longtime O scaler or simply enjoy well-built layouts, I hope you’ll enjoy revisiting—or discovering—this remarkable railroad through Terry’s lens.
This video was originally part of Terry's 2-Rail O Scale 2016 program.

O gauge 2 rail w/ realistic rails and ties, not to mention the improved electronics of light and sound.
I'm a movie production fan mostly, and O2 seems the best candidate for recreating believable cinematic miniatures while using cameras with lenses that have an appropriate depth of field.
