Keep up the good work. I love how you made the intro pretty short but still knows exactly what you’re doing.

Hi
❤

Making pizza at home is easier than it seems—and you can customize it however you like. Here’s a simple, reliable way to do it from scratch:

⸻

🍕 Basic Homemade Pizza

🧾 Ingredients (for 1–2 pizzas)

Dough:
• 2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
• 1 ½ cups warm water (not hot)
• 3 ½–4 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp sugar

Toppings:
• ½–1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, veggies, mushrooms, etc.)

⸻

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make the Dough
1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2. Add olive oil, salt, and flour gradually.
3. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth.
4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1–2 hours (until doubled in size).

⸻

2. Preheat Oven
• Set your oven to 475°F (245°C).
• If you have one, preheat a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.

⸻

3. Shape the Dough
• Punch down the dough and divide if making two pizzas.
• Roll or stretch into a circle (about 10–12 inches wide).
• Place on parchment paper or a floured surface.

⸻

4. Add Toppings
• Spread sauce evenly (don’t overload).
• Add cheese and toppings.

⸻

5. Bake
• Transfer to the hot oven (onto stone or baking sheet).
• Bake for 10–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.

⸻

6. Cool & Serve
• Let it cool for a couple minutes, slice, and enjoy!

⸻

🔥 Tips for Better Pizza
• Use high heat—that’s key for a crispy crust.
• Don’t overload toppings or it’ll get soggy.
• Brush crust edges with olive oil for a golden finish.
• Try adding garlic, oregano, or chili flakes for extra flavor.

⸻

If you want, I can show you:
• A super quick “no-yeast” pizza
• Deep-dish or pan pizza
• Or how to make it taste like restaurant-style 🍕
