Is this for real? Near the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch (Netherlands) I catch a stunning fully scaled carp – a fish I already caught once this spring. It rains all day and the first bite comes off straight away, but around half past ten in the evening the rod with the 20 mm Monster Crab wafter goes off after all.
🎣 Welcome to Public Carp Fishing!
In my videos I take you along on my carp fishing on canals, rivers, big public waters and other challenging swims. You don't just see the catches, but everything that goes with them: finding swims, baiting, rigs, bait, tackle, moving swims and the decisions that can make the difference during a session.

I'd love to hear what you thought of this video. Any questions about my tackle, rigs, hooklinks, bait, swim choice, baiting strategy or the way I fish? Feel free to let me know in the comments.
Also let me know what you'd like to see in a future video. Your idea might just turn up in one of the next sessions.
🎥 ABOUT PUBLIC CARP FISHING
Public Carp Fishing is all about real carp fishing. From short sessions to multi-day trips, and from well-known waters to new swims where everything has to be figured out first.
I try to take you along through the whole story as much as possible: where I look for fish, why I choose a particular swim, which rigs and tackle I use, how I bait up and why I sometimes decide to move.
Of course, in the end it all comes down to that one bite and hopefully a beautiful carp on the mat.
