I must say that of all the homeworthy tours, yours is the best.  It's so crisp, textured, sculptured and clean, not cluttered with excessive collectibles or decor. Absolutely  Beautiful.

I've commented once. I just have to say that this is my favorite Homeworthy show. I just love her home. She is so humble. She has such a peaceful spirit. She totally inspires me. I think she is my favorite designer.

These tours are the most enriching experiences i have discovered quite by chance when they started popping up on my YouTube feed.  I too am a designer, also self taught but really just influenced throughout my life by parents, my grandmothers, aunts and uncles who were gifted as artists, woodworkers, like her father, wonderful seamstresses, collecters of beautiful furnishings, art, rugs, textiles... it was in my genes. I grew up with classic mid-century modern pieces but also juxtaposed with French modernist art and Asian Chinese pieces from the 20's and earlier. The mid-century furniture was by the famous designers of the 50's and 60's. I absolutely adored seeing Kelly's interiors where she exercised such restraint. That is a difficult tight rope for me to walk when i have not only a 50+ yesr collector's trove of my own, but also so many wonderful treasures from my late parents and others in my family. For now I've found a balance, but it's hard to stay as minimalist as she has done though i greatly admire that ability and am striving to store and rotate my pieces even seasonally to avoid "overload"! It is much harder to design with negative space, i believe than to do the opposite, and yet still not come off as cold and impersonal! Those who can are true artistes! The art always takes center stage, for me. Although I fortunately have the wall space to indulge that passion without things competing with one another. I too am from Nashville, born and raised with deep family roots and had several friends who lived on Estes. I expect we also have mutual friends who are well known professional artists. So glad to have come upon Kelly and this inspiring tour of her home which is so different from many of the (equally lovely but far more filled to the max) homes i also enjoy watching on Homeworty. She is an inspiration! I also enjoyed  others' comments and her daughter's as well! A nice personal add-on!

When she said that she does not conform to the latest Pantone paint color I knew that I would love her work.

What a fascinating woman! I just fell in love with her, her art and her beautiful home. I'm SO traditional, but she makes me want to be an organic, modern, minimalist! So many beautiful treasures and I just love that the artistic gene runs through the generations- her father's and son's work were very beautiful too.
