God of War: Chains of Olympus takes place before the original game, and leads us all the way to that fateful moment where Kratos ends up on the edge of the Suicide Bluffs.

As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience. Hope you enjoy!

The sun is gone, and in its place a darkness has swept the land. Morpheus's fog and enemies are everywhere, and Kratos is again enlisted to make things right for the gods.

This is how these "Movie" version of games should be made. Cut scenes, Bosses, and just enough game play to keep track of whats happening. Great video.

Basically Kratos saved the world only to destroy it later

@TheEduardo90 8 years ago

Why save someone you're going to use as a lamp later?

@seanscudder5428 4 years ago

Kratos: Goodbye daughter, if I have another kid I will treat them better

Years later

Artrus:....so....what was our family like?

Kratos: BOI!

No one:

No a single soul:

Kratos in each game:WHAT TREACHERY IS THIS!?

"You will earn your freedom, in time."

That's a lie and you know it, Athena. You never were going to free Kratos.

Such a sad line 😢.

Calliope secretly thinking, "my dad's so brave and good to try to save Elysium."
Kratos immediately snaps civilian's neck in front of her.

After playing all these remarkable games, i finally understand that the gods were ones who brought their destruction to themselves. Kratos only wanted peace, nothing more nothing else.

I find it more dark that the wife wasn’t worthy of being with her daughter and suffers as bad as the other souls

Ferryman : "Begone, its not your time yet mortal" ...proceeds to kill kratos

If you play God of war 4 for the hype without playing any other games, never talk to me boy.

Man: "Shall we help him?"
Athena: " He'll live"

Proceeds to leave him unconscious in the middle of nowhere, unarmed as if he didn't just save them and their entire existence..

36:40 man my heart aches for kratos. Such a sad moment for the series. This and ghost of Sparta are very under appreciated games. They’re easily some of the best of the series.

its so sad what the event took place for Kratos letting go of his daughter. you have to button mash just to let go of colliape. it just shows how must kratos dosnt want to do it cause he's a father! this is one of my best gaming moments ever :D

>You must find Helios and Return him to the Sky

>And for fuck sake Kratos do it fucking GENTLY Helios is having Neck Problems lately

@boibio3563 6 years ago

“Who would release such evil?”
Anyone else laugh at the irony

@jinx1987 3 years ago

I like how this game implies how important and powerful Helios is only for the 3rd game to not only make him the most pathetic of the boss fights but to also forget about him keeping back Morpheus’s power.
