80s where the best time to be a teenager

Growing up in the 80's with the rock music was so so Amazing!!

Pour Some Sugar on Me, High and Dry, Photograph, Love Bites, Rock of Ages, Animal.. So many killer songs!!

Awesome song. One of the most perfectly produced songs of all time.

Seeing them play it live adds a whole new dimension to it.

My older sister passed way on March 10th. She was a teenager in the 80's and loved the bands of the time. She taught me to love them as well. I've been listening to a lot of Def Leppard lately, especially Hysteria. This song is a masterpiece of production by Mutt Lange and performances by the band.

This album is fantastic, not a bad song on it.

One of the biggest albums of the 80's, and one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

Boy does this take me back! Pop this cassette in and cruise the strip on a Friday night. Those were the days.

It's never to late to explore quality music, no matter what period. The 70's and 80's was in my opinion exeptionally great. Everything seemed possible, the positive vibe. I'm greatful to have lived it when it happened.

The soundtrack of my youth ❤

This album was HUGE. I wasn't into it but it was definitely the biggest album of that year. You couldn't go anywhere without hearing "Pour Some Sugar On Me" at least twice. Chicks loved this one a lot.

my favorite band growing up as a teenager in the 80's. I'm actually seen in one of their videos when I was front row at one of their concerts in Philly.

Def Leppard is an incredible band even when the drummer Rick Allen lost his arm in a car accident the band waited for him and came up with a way to play the drums with one hand this band started in the  late 70's I was truly blessed to have seen them a few times they are so worth wild to check out with songs like When Love and Hate Collide, Let's get rocked,Love bites,Two Steps behind Miss You in a Heartbeat Foolin and the list goes on

This album is worth listening to all the way through. It hit #1, 20 million copies sold worldwide, spawned 7 singles with singles being released for almost 2 years after the release of the album. The tour, In the Round, In Your Face lasted two years. You can see clips from the show in the video for Pour Some Sugar on Me.

This song, that whole album is deep in my heart's life soundtrack, my very lonely beatdown and battered high-school years. This song brought me hope, lifted my spirits when I was deeply distraught and down, simply because of the upbeat, lighthearted nature of its sound. I saw them live, twice back in the mid 90s, great shows. But this song helped me push through a lot of bad places, alongside some Rush songs, that I know you know as you have uploaded a bunch of them. Thank you, Rosalie 💙

Isn't it amazing how 80's music, when you hear it, it sounds as if it was made yesterday, the exquisit sounds, the quality of the recordings, and is so much so that it feels as if it belongs to nowadays creations, so modern and it'll never go away because 80's music is immortal, so glad I was alive back then and really felt how it impacted music forever.

Def Leppard have not had it easy along the way, the drummer Rick Allan lost his left arm in a car accident back in the 80s so he modified his drum kit to play with one arm, also guitar player Steve Clarke passed away shortly after this album was released,  the guy that replaced him Vivian Campbell has been dealing with a form of cancer for a number of year's now, he couldn't play in a few shows recently because of his illness,  Def Leppard are a band that I've been listening to since 1980, they recorded great music over the years.

One of my favourite records of all time 🙏

Def Leppard was a favorite in the 80's  Their song Paper Sun is pretty amazing!

My favorite Def Leppard song,—— Love Bites. The music to that song is AWSOME!
