The days when a camera in an actual helicopter was easier end cheaper than a camera drone...

One of the most epic shots ever from MythBusters

I remember seeing this episode on tv when it aired. Good memories with my dad!

Adams little fireproof house reminds me of a similarly designed concrete and thick glass portholed window anchored to a granite ledge that gets hit by breaking waves. To give you an idea of the power of the waves, a sunken railroad track standing vertically was bent flat as if a steam roller or tank went over it. Using the theory used to build resilient lighthouses, could you build a massive wave observation bunker?

In my opinion, this stands as one of the top 3 Mythbusters episodes of ALL TIME. Just an absolute 10/10 episode right here

Grant slamming into Tori 😂😂😂

This is an all-timer mythbusters episode to me. Absolute classic, both myths fascinating and what feels like very little filler or time-padding content

Wind maybe helps with circle dust theory

Btw the helicopter seen in this episode (N8052G) crashed in 2018.

Excellent work, Thank you and God bless

They still could have fooled the thermal cameras though. Without having to resort to "camouflage".  If the drivers and/or any other occupants of the cars had all exited and shuffled around the vehicles at the same time Kari was being nabbed, like a game of musical chairs, there would have been no way to know who was who.

YOLO County must be a wild place

Reminded me of Pyro vs Iceman in X-Men Last Stand.

9:21 XD

For keeping the cars in a circle why not weld them to radial arms, just like a merry go round or carousel

can we see more flamethrower myth stuff ? (:

Why was the angle of viewing the cars different for the different camera tests? The spread out angle would have given the regular camera a better chance at seeing possible shadows or even a car door open.

Gasoline + air + fire 😁

Happy birthday grant😢

fyi dust also obscures thermal imagery as well
