One of the things that made Carlin one of the greatest is that he used profanity to illustrate a joke rather than be offensive for the sake of being offensive.

Ah George Carlin, most well known for his stand-up and voicing the narrator for Thomas the Tank Engine.

You should watch his "The Sanctity of Life" clip. That ages just as well.

Kip, As a 5'5, former 280 pound dude, that have clawed his way down to 190, and falling, a simple 2-hour walk every day will do amazing things to your body over the course of a year. Listen to music and just... walk. It also helps with problem solving.

George Carlin and Bo Burnham have been two of the most influential comedians in a lot of people's lives and are STILL considered "prophets" of their time. So much has come to pass that these people joked about that it almost reads like they're psychic. 10/10 react, Kip. Looking forward to the next one.

George's 90s stand up is some of his absolute best. Keep watching him cause he is SO GOOD.

George Carlin was a very educated man in all the ways that mattered. He had an uncanny ability to say things as they are and to follow and see the inevitable conclusion of society and life in general on various topics. And to think, he first became outrageously famous for his skit about the 7 swear words you cannot use in television. I believe it was titled "7 Words You Can't Say On TV" or "Dirty Words" if you want to look for it. Another one I'd recommend is "The Planet Is Fine." Heck, most of his works I would recommend!

George Carlin did something you may not know. He was THE narrator for the US version of Thomas the Tank Engine. He used the same variety of voices (besides the one he uses when he's being suggestive) and someone decided to take his narration of the show, and seamlessly splice his comedy bits into it. Since it's his voice and the character's mouths don't move anyhow, it fits so nastily well.

George Carlin is one of the greatest comedians to live. His bit on religion is my favorite.

George Carlin is my Spirit Animal.

George started making specials in 1977, EVERYTHING from 1977-2008(the year he passed away) is 1000% still relevant today in 2026 1977 to 2026 and NOTHING has changed.

My niece is being taught that "70-3" is a 3 step problem. How does that help? More steps just means more chances of getting tripped up and your brain rejecting the information. We have kids who think they are terrible at math until they get to use the old system and suddenly they're excelling.
