Hoshi Hyūma
Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1974. Author and translator. Completed a Master's program in Social Sciences at Tokyo Metropolitan University Graduate School. Completed a course at the Educational Department of the Institute of Social Information, University of Tokyo. Master of Sociology (Tokyo Metropolitan University, 2001). Specializes in the sociology of religion and social policy.
Author of books including Keywords of Early Buddhism (Sanga), Understand Buddhist Terminology in 45 Minutes! Learning with Numbers (Magazine House), and English Vocabulary for Knowledge: Learning Your First General Knowledge in an English Seminar Format (TS Planning). Translators include Ajahn Chah's The Art of Letting Go (Expanded Edition) and Mahasi Sayadaw's Vipassana Meditation (all from Sanga).

Tetsuro Sato
Born in Tokyo in 1972. Graduated from the Department of Indian Philosophy, Faculty of Letters, Toyo University. After working as a writer and magazine editor, she became the Secretary-General of the Japan Theravada Buddhist Association in 2003, and is currently the Editor-in-Chief. She is responsible for evangelism through the internet and editing the works of Venerable Alubomulle Sumanasara.
Her published works include The Great Asian Intellectual Drama: Another Modern History Connected by Buddhism and *Declaration of Japan's "Re-Buddhization!"*, both published by Sangha. She is also a co-author of *Keywords in Japanese Religious History*, published by Keio University Press.
