"I'm lazy," she said-commencing a three mile hike with a huge backpack.  Thanks for sharing this cool place with us!  🐻☕🧡

I still absolutely love the silent moments in your videos! No silly music or crazy transitions. It feels like I'm there in person experiencing the views and scenery. Hell yeah!

I have to be honest... I wished you make more videos more often! I love your video style...
Interesting fact... when I was stuck at home because of 8 broken bones, your videos helped keep me sane!
I do hope you see this! :) You're awesome!

I've been there several times over the years, including an overnight stay on my last visit in 2016.  It really is an incredible place in several ways (location, history, energetic vibe).

Every so often, the family of the man who built it will organize a crew of volunteers — basically friends and more family — to go up and repair the roof and generally clean up the place.  But due to the weather extremes way up there, damage inevitably reoccurs.  They'd need to install a metal roof to ensure durability over decades instead of a few years.  The challenge is always about getting materials and tools to the site, as well as cost.

Someone already mentioned this but I was trying to place why I like your videos so much. What makes your videos different than the other camping videos on you tube. It’s your editing style. It’s raw, no dumb catchy background music to distract from the beauty of the scenery. Just great vantage points and a flow to your videos that’s relaxing and engaging to I watch. You have a knack for editing and the personality to go along with it. No fancy expensive camping equipment bare bones and you capture all that matters and leave out the fluff.

I've always liked the sound of people walking on dirt/gravel. Very relaxing.

Mice would be the least of my worries.

Miyazaki definitely counts as anime! He's one of the greats.

Rosa,
I truly enjoy your videos and love your style and enthusiasm. Please keep up the fantastic work.
You should list other links for donations.  Choose something with low fees so you get the full benefit….
I’d pitch in for groceries or fuel or just an awesome 6 pack of your favorite adult beverage!
I appreciate what you do .

Gotta change that pad asap !!

I love the serenity and solitude, and you are certainly not lazy! Watching from Nairobi, Kenya

The mold on the orange mat is from when you slept in the bathtub shed!

Great timing.  Coffee with Rosa!  So happy to see you!

Thanks! for posting your Adventures and taking us away from the daily news:person-turqouise-waving:

i was immediately struck by how clean it was there. It must be way hard to get there. Love your vids Rosa!

Super interested in this building - going to research it. Also bears must be a pretty big issue as I haven’t seen a video yet of you being so careful with food and cooking!!

I love how fearless this gorgeous lady is!

That was a cool find! The structure of that place was amazing considering the time it was built and the face that is was just left there open and all. Thanks for sharing this adventure, Rosa!

Hi, big fan of your content! When I am stressed I go back and watch your video in the rainy cabin with the river nearby. Could you perhaps upload the full video here? The sound of rain on a wooden roof heals my soul. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us!

You make everything you do look amazing.  Please be careful Rosa.  Bad people wanted by the law and they could be anywhere by now.❤
